This is the third layout from the Close to My Heart Silver & Gold paper packet.  I have added Daisy White card stock for the photo mats on this layout.

The large photo mats are for two 4 x 6 photos.

Gold Shimmer trim adds some sparkle to this layout.  I have used one of the journal spots on this page.

This is layout 4 from the Close to My Heart paper packet.  I have added 2 Daisy White card stock papers for the base.  I have also added Pewter card stock for photo mats and design elements.

I have used 2 different sets of zip strips for design elements on this layout.

I added some die cut deer to this layout for a little extra embellishment.  They were cut out in Pewter as well.

I used my Cameo to cut out the Merry Christmas title.

This is the first of 4 layouts from the Close to My Heart Silver and Gold paper packet.  I add extra card stock in coordinating colors for photo mats on all the layouts.  

On this layout I have added Pewter card stock for the photo mats.  The larger photo mat is for two
4 x 6 and two 3 x 4 photos. 
Two of the journal mats from the paper packet are used on this layout as well.
I used the gold glitter paper and cut out a scribble circle and also the word joy from a Sizzix alphabet.

Gold shimmer trim adds a nice sparkle to this page.

Beary Christmas Layout 1

This layout uses the CTMH Beary Christmas paper packet.  I have also added some extra card stock in Fern and Cranberry and Daisy White.  The layouts are based on the Workshop Your Way layouts from CTMH but I do usually modify them just a bit.  I prefer a few more photo mats and usually larger photo mats as most of my pictures are larger.  Those in my club also prefer the larger photo mats.

This is a bright fast fun layout.I love the poinsettia base pages.  I did end up getting more of this paper so that in another layout from this paper packet I was able to use more of this paper.

This is the second layout from the CTMH Bearly Christmas paper packet.  I added Cranberry card stock for the phot mats.

It is hard to see in the picture but I have also used glitter gems in gray to add some sparkle to the page.

Beary Christmas Layout 5

I really love this paper it is from the CTMH Beary Christmas paper packet I offered my club 5 layouts this time.  This is accomplished by adding extra card stock in coordinating colors.

Most of my pictures are 4 x 6 so I do try to make most photo mats that size on my layouts.  You can always trim a 4 x 6 a little bit.  The 2 smaller mats, one could be used to journal and the other for a photo.  Once pictures are on you can always add more embellishments.
CTMH Cranberry, Fern and Daisy White card stock were added for this layout.  The other paper was what was left from the paper packet after doing 4 other layouts.  I love the zip strips you can always use them to add a quick design element to your pages.

Fun Christmas Tags 4

This is the last group of tags the group will make.  

The first 2 are made with Stampin Up dies and then I used Washi tape and a die for the snowflake.  The dies was a Tim Holtz snowflake I think.  I will have to check on that. 

For the detailed ornament dies I used the Sizzix adhesive sheets to make it easier for everyone to attache it to the background paper.  

For the small ornament I stacked Washi tape in different designs on white paper and then cut out with an ornament die.   It is a simple fast little tag.

Fun Christmas Tags 3

Here are some more tags the group will make.  These are all from Treasure Box Designs. As there are a lot of little parts for the penguins I put together the eyes and beaks for the group.  This way there is less small parts to lose when working with a group. Everyone will get to make one of each of these.  

For the mitten tag, it does come with a snowman on top, but for our tag party I left that off and most of the tags have a lot of little pieces.  This way they get a fast mitten and it is still really cute.

These are just close ups from the all tags post.  Everyone will get to make one of each of these.

The tree is from Dreaming Tree and was an SVG cut.

The other 3 are dies from Stampin Up.

It is nice to have some really simple dies for the group as we make anywhere from 13 - 18 tags.  So every tag cannot be time consuming.  I try and do some of the work the group to keep this fun.

Fun Christmas Tags

    At our tag event everyone will get to make one of these.  All three of these designs are from Treasure Box Designs.

Simple tags

Simple tags made with Washi tape.  At our tag party everyone will be able to choose 2 of the designs below to make or design 2 of their own tags with Washi tape and the embellishments that I have cut out.

To give everyone ideas I came up with 6 different tags with some cute die cut embellishments.  I really love Washi tape.  These are fun fast tags to make.  The dies used for the embellishments were from Close to My Heart, Stampin UP, Spellbinders and some punches I had on hand.

I have about 10 more designs of Washi tape that everyone can choose from.  I still have to put a hole in the top of the tag to attach the twine. 

Tag Party

Every year we get together and make tags for the holidays.  This year this is the complete set of what we will be making.  I will have posts with smaller sets of tags so that you can see them all.

I used many different tools and products to make these tags.  

The candle, angel, layered tree,both penguins, reindeer, mitten and Dec 25th are all SVG files from Treasure Box Designs.

The big white tags were made with Washi tape and then I cut out from dies the embellishment, the dies were from Spellbinder, Close to My Heart, Stamping Up and just some punches I have. 

The 2 ornament tags were made with Stampin Up dies as well as the reindeer and snowman folder tags.  

The folded Christmas Tree was an SVG file from Dreaming Tree

Falling for You layout 3

This is the 3rd layout using the CTMH Falling for You paper packet.

This layout is also based on the CTMH Workshop your Way layouts.  I added Pebble card stock for the base pages and the four 4 x 6 photo mats in Fern card stock and two 3 x 4 photo mats in Toffee card stock.  The other two 3 x 4 mats are some pocket cards from the paper pack and they can be used for journal spots or more photos.

Falling for You layout 2

This is the second layout using CTMH Falling for You paper packet.

This layout is based on the CTMH Workshops Your Way.  I have added photo mats in Toffee card stock.  Three of them are 4 x 6 an the small one is 4 x 3 1/2.  I like more 4 x 6 photo spots instead of a bunch of smaller ones.
I have also added some die cuts using my Quickutz acorn and leaf dies.  I cut those out of some of the pocket cards that I did not use.

Falling for You layout 1

I am making 4 layouts for my page club using the Close to My Heart Falling for You paper packet and then CMTH card stock in Daisy White, Pebble, Toffee, Fern and Goldrush.  When we are done with all four 2 page layouts there is still a bit of B&T duo paper left that you can use for cards or for dies cut or SVG file cuts.  

This layout is based on the Workshop Your Way from CTMH for Falling for You.  I have simply added Goldrush card stock for all the photo mats as I prefer to mat most of my pictures.

Falling for You layout 4

This is the fourth and final layout I have made using the Close to My Heart Falling for You paper packet and then some extra card stock.

I used Daisy White card stock as the base for the pages.
The rest was done with left over card stock from the other pages and zip stips from the paper packet and one piece of the B&T duo paper in the floral design.  This was cut into two 6 x 12 inch pieces.
The photo mats are all 4 x 6 inches and the small journal mat is 4 x 2 1/2 inches.
The photo mats are in Fern, Goldrush and Toffee and all are CTMH card stock.  The new card stock now has a darker and lighter side in the color.

Jack layout 4

This is the 4th layout from the CTMH Jack paper packet.

I added a Juniper and Daisy white card stock for the base pages.  I used zip strips for the small accent.  I used the 4 x 6 and 3 x 4 pocket cards for photo mats.  I cut one 4  x 5 inch photo mat from left over design paper in the black log look.  The journal spot is a 4 x 6 pocket card with a 3 x 4 pocket card on top.  This way fun fast and bit different layout then I normally do.

There is still a tiny bit of design paper left and I may make one more layout by adding some card stock.

Jack layout 3

This is the 3rd layout from the CTMH Jack paper packet.

On this layout I used different sides of the paper and I added photo mats in Slate card stock at 4 x 6 inches.   I used a 3 x 4 pocket card for the journal spot and I topped it with part of zip strip.  This is blemished with the white and black dots.

Jack layout 2

This is the 2nd layout from the CTMH Jack paper packet.

On this layout I used different sides of the paper and I added photo mats in Whisper.  Two of them are 4 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches, one is 4 x 6 inches and one is 5 x 4 inches.  I love how masculine this layout looks as I tend to do more girly layouts normally.  This is embellished with the black dots.  The journal spot is a 3 x 4 pocket card topped with Whisper card stock.

Jack layout 1

I will be posting 4 layouts made with the Close to My Heart Jack paper packet and some extra card stock.  These layouts are based on the CTMH Workshop your way layouts, but I have made changes to them.  I add photo mat in different sizes, I use opposite sides of the paper as well sometimes.  This give the layouts a whole new look.

For this layout I used the Juniper card stock for 2 large photo mats that I will put 4 x 6 or just a bit smaller pictures on.  The journal mat is a 3 x 4 pocket card and I added some bling with the white dots.

Cupcakes for family picnic

Feels like a fall day today so I made cupcakes.  For the base of the cupcake I use a mix but I put it together like LIZZY does at Your Cup of Cake.  This makes the cakes taste better and it is so easy to do. I also chopped up some Milky Way bars and added them to the batter.  There is a caramel filling as a small surprise in the center of these and caramel frosting.  For a festive look I topped them with fun fall colored jimmies and a piece of a Milky Way bar.

For the caramel frosting.
1 cup butter
1/4 - 1/2 cup of caramel (normally I make my own, but I used caramel ice cream topping today as I was in a hurry)
4 - 5 cups powered sugar
1 - 2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Milk or whip cream to desired consistency (will be about 4 tablespoons)

Beat the butter and caramel until creamy.  Add sugar about 1 cup at a time and beat.
Add vanilla, salt and some milk.  Beat until smooth and creamy and add more milk as needed until you reach your desired consistency.

Now off to the family picnic where I will be sharing these cupcakes.

Prickly Pear Layout 3

The layouts are based on CTMH Workshop Your Way.  I usually change it up just a tiny bit as I like to mat most of my photos.  I also sometimes change which side of the B&T Duo paper.  I may also change the size of the photo mats or add more as I like my layouts to have multiple pictures. 

We always make four 2 page layouts from the paper packs.  I simply add a bit more card stock and there is always paper left over for cards or some other craft. 

This is made from the CTMH Prickly Pear paper packet.

The photo mats are 4 x 6 in Daisy White and the Prickly Pear sequins add some bling to this layout.  I also used the blue Burlap ribbon on this layout.

Washi tape layout - Disney

I found this red and black tube of Washi tape and I thought I can do a fast bright fun Disney layout with that.  With just some Daisy white, black and red card stock along with the Washi tape I have made this layout.

This layout is pretty crazy but I love it.  Hope you enjoy it as well.

Cinderella mean step sisters layout

To this layout I have added some half Mickey head icons and some pictures from my Disney trip with my granddaughter.  This did not have to be a Disney layout but the icons and pictures and the dream from the Magic paper packet and embellishments I have turned it into that.  

I have layouts for my club without any idea what pictures will eventually be on them.  It is easy to make pictures work or your completed layouts you have sitting around.

Snow White layout

Sometimes you just want a really simply fast layout for your pictures.  That is what I have done here.

I used the Treasure Box princess collection to make the Snowy girl embellishment.  This is the first time I tried to make one and it turned out pretty good.  I am not an artist so mine will never look like examples I see from others.  I am happy with it so that is all that matters.  For the journal mat I used some Sizzix doily dies. The borders were created with a Sizzix die and a Martha Stewart punch.  I decided to alternate them on each layout.

Sorry this picture is not that great.  I have tried twice but you get the idea at least.

Disney layout using Magic paper

I have taken one of my CTMH layouts that used the Magic paper pack and added the Magical Moments title from Treasure Box Designs and some Mickey bling and the word dream to this layout.

It is very easy to take any layouts that you have done and make your pictures work.  This layout was not designed for these pictures but I think it works out really well with them.  I cut out the title using left over card stock and paper from when I put together the 4 two page layouts using the Magic paper.

Disney Layout 02

Disney Layout from my trip with my daughter and her family. 

Paper used was just paper on hand that I had.  Every time I find Disney paper I buy it and then pair is with color card stock that coordinates.

The bear, title and Mickey hat and hands are from Little Scraps of Heaven.
I have also used Washi Tape and ribbon and a Disney button and brad to accent this page.

Little Dreamer layout 1T

This is the first of four layouts using Close to My Hearts Little Dreamer paper packet.  I add extra card stock for photo mats on all layouts.

This layout is from CTMH Workshops your way using the Little Dreamer paper packet and the Little Dreamer Glitter gems.  There is room to add a title to this page yet if you desire.  Along with other dies cuts once pictures are added.  The large phot mat is 4 x 6 inches.

Little Dreamer Layout 4

This is the 4th and final layout using the Little Dreamer CTMH paper packet.  There is still some paper left and you could add a bit more card stock and make another 2 page layout or make some cards with the left over paper.

I have added Lemon card stock in four 4 x 6 photo mats,  two of those mats use the pocket cards with words on it for a off set layered photo mat.  The small photo mat ix 3 x 4 inches.

Some Kinda Wonderful Layout 4

This is the 4th and final layout from the CTMH Some Kinda Wonderful Paper packet.  I have added Lemon and Daisy White card stock to this layout.

 The large photo mats are all 4 x 6 inches.

The journal spot is a 3 x 4 pocket card from the paper packet and the green off set mat under the Daisy White photo mat is a 4 x 6 inch green dotted pocket card.

The embellishments are Black dots from the Black & White Dots Z3314.

Some Kinda Wonderful Layout 2

Layout 2 using the CTMH Some Kinda Wonderful Paper packet.  I have added Raspberry card stock to this layout for all the photo mats.

 The large photo mats are all 4 x 6 in Raspberry card stock.

I used a 3 x 4 journal card with a Daisy White top for the journal spot.

The embellishments are the Black & White Dots Z3314.
