Timber Layout 1 - Close to My Heart

This is the first of 5 layouts using 2 of the Close to My Heart Timber paper packs and one of the Timber cardstock packs. I really loved both sides of the paper so I had my club get 2 packs of the design paper and I have made 5 different layouts for them.  This design was based on a layout from another consultant, it is not totally the same but similar.

The journal spot is made with the new CTMH stitched fancy bracket thin cuts (Z3686).  The large triangle is an 11 x 11 square cut in half and the smaller ones are 5 x 5 squares cut in half.

First Food layout 01

 My grandson eats his food so well and does not make much of a mess for me.  I wanted little messy mouth pictures so I was able to get a few.  He LOVES his food.  I have never seen a young child east so well when starting food.  He's started food about 6 1/2 months old.  In these picture he is eating blueberries and carrots that his mom made.  It is so fun feeding this little guy.  The accents were created with SVG files from Treasure Box Designs.  They did not have quite what I wanted so this is a combination of 3 different SVG files and I modified the title to use a  baby food jar instead of a tippy cup.  Love how this turned out.

The layout I created months ago using Close to My Heart papers.  I have a club that gets together monthly and I design layouts for them.  You can see how easy it is to then add pictures and accent later.  I always leave room for titles and accents on every layout as these are what make a layout pop.

New-Baby-boy-01

 I made this layout some time ago using Close to My Heart papers.  I find it easier to design a layout without the pictures.  When I have pictures I tend to just mat them and not really do andy special design.  I always leave spots for titles and embellishments on the layouts I design. This way they can be used for anything.

On this layout I used the S-Seal SVG file from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs as the title.  I finished the title by adding the rest of Sterling in the same colors. I think the title makes the page pop with those big seal eyes.  I also added a little Quickutz bear and a deer silhouette from IO dies.

First-Food-01

 I will be making a First Foods page with these, but for now I am just sharing these designs.  I used 3 different SVG files from Treasure Box Designs and I modified the title to have a baby food jar instead of a tippy cup.  I turned the peas into blueberries as that was the fruit he was started on.  I also wanted animal's instead of babies with the food for more cuteness. 

Can't wait for my pictures to arrive so that I can scrap this cute set of characters.

 This is another set of pages I designed some time ago using Close to My Heart papers.  Originally I designed it for 6 pictures of which four would have been 4 x 6 side by side. Instead I had 4 pictures, so 2 of them have larger photo mats around then and it still looks great.  You never would have know it was not designed this way originally.

Together with family 01

I made this layout when my daughter came to visit.  I had all 3 of my children here and my 3 grandchildren as well.  These photos have 4 generations of family in them.  It is not often all of my children are in the same state. Wish I was a better photographer, but the whole point is to preserve memories of family. 

 I had made this layout a few months ago and I have made the pictures I took on the visit work for this. The Close to My Heart Yesterday and Today paper packet was the paper used.  The decorative accents I created with one of my dies.

I Love Roo 02

I bought a activity table for Sterling and he had so much fun with all the different elements.  So I took some pictures of him in it.  I made the I Love Roo title the other day and it works great with these pictures.  I also decided to add a few more design accents with the turtle, monkey and hippo Cuttle Kids dies.  I love how this simple layout turned out.

The Cuddle Kids dies are simply easy 2 step dies.  I have a close up of just the turtle below.  They are so fast and easy to put together.  These are an older set of dies that I bought years ago and I still love to use them.   

Great-Grandma-01

 Mom with 3 of her great grandchildren. Missing Jake & Rhea's little girl as I forgot to take a picture when they were there.  They now have a new baby boy as well.

Your Dino-mite 02

I made the blue dinosaur, rock, bush and title the other day.  Today I went through my pages I have made previously and decided to use this layout.  Once I put this together I decided it needed a few more dinosaurs.  The small dino by the journal spot is an Echo Park dinosaur die cut and the other golden dinosaur is another SVG file from Cuddly Cute 

The papers used are an old Close to My Heart series of papers.

My Little Monster -02

 Babies love to put everything in their mouth, so I have done this layout for my grandson and picked a few pictures of him munching on different things.  I used the My Little Monster title I made the other day for this layout.  It is a very simple layout, but still fun.  I have also added some monsters that I stamped before. Cute monsters are a lot of fun.

I am not a great photographer, but my goal is just to preserve memories.  I just need to add my thoughts to this layout.

Your Dino-mite file 01

Working on creating with SVG files today.   I need to get photos printed and then I will make a layout with these.  I just love my Silhouette Cameo 2 and what I can make with it and purchased SVG files.  I still love all my dies and use them as well, but the SVG files has opened a whole new world for me.

These are so fun to make.  Can't wait to scrap with pictures of my grandson.

The title is just modified in layout from the original SVG file.  I saw another crafter who had changed the title to be stacked like this, so I stacked the title and then offset it twice to get the 3 tired title layout above.  I love the way it looks.  I do like to ink the top of my titles in a slightly darker color.  It just helps them to pop more.
