Stars and Sparklers 07 CTMH

This layout was created from the Stars & Sparklers Workshop kit.  I changed up my design just a little bit.  The workshop kits allow you to create a layout very fast and easy.  It is a fun easy way to make layouts if you are unsure of what you want to make.  They always add some special paper and elements that you cannot get in the normal paper packet.  The kit creates 3 layouts.

Stars and Sparklers 03 CTMH

This is the second of 4 layouts from the Stars and Sparklers (2) Close to My Heart paper packet and coordinating cardstock.  I always get 2 packet packets as it allows more design options.  There is enough paper left over to make embellishment, or titles for the other pages, or even some cards.  

The journal spot was created with a Spellbinder die.  I have angled the photo mats just a little for some added interest.  I don't believe everything always has to be straight on or even.

When I use a patterned paper as the base and cover most of it in cardstock, I cut out the middle and use that design paper on another layout.  The only time I do not do this is when I use white cardstock for a base page.

Stars and Sparklers 02 CTMH

This is the second of 4 layouts from the Stars and Sparklers (2) Close to My Heart paper packet and coordinating cardstock.  I always get 2 packet packets as it allows more design options.  There is enough paper left over to make embellishment, or titles for the other pages, or even some cards. 

I used a star die set to make the large star and another die for the journal spot.  The Star & Sparklers sequins were added as well for a little pop of bling.

This is the Fourth layout from the Stars and Sparklers (2) Close to My Heart paper packet and coordinating cardstock.  I always get 2 packet packets as it allows more design options.  There is enough paper left over to make embellishment, or titles for the other pages, or even some cards. 

I made the title with my Silhouette Cameo using Daisy White and Scarlet cardstock.  The Stars & Sparklers sequins were used to add a pop of bling.
