Cupcakes for family picnic

Feels like a fall day today so I made cupcakes.  For the base of the cupcake I use a mix but I put it together like LIZZY does at Your Cup of Cake.  This makes the cakes taste better and it is so easy to do. I also chopped up some Milky Way bars and added them to the batter.  There is a caramel filling as a small surprise in the center of these and caramel frosting.  For a festive look I topped them with fun fall colored jimmies and a piece of a Milky Way bar.

For the caramel frosting.
1 cup butter
1/4 - 1/2 cup of caramel (normally I make my own, but I used caramel ice cream topping today as I was in a hurry)
4 - 5 cups powered sugar
1 - 2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Milk or whip cream to desired consistency (will be about 4 tablespoons)

Beat the butter and caramel until creamy.  Add sugar about 1 cup at a time and beat.
Add vanilla, salt and some milk.  Beat until smooth and creamy and add more milk as needed until you reach your desired consistency.

Prickly Pear Layout 3

The layouts are based on CTMH Workshop Your Way.  I usually change it up just a tiny bit as I like to mat most of my photos.  I also sometimes change which side of the B&T Duo paper.  I may also change the size of the photo mats or add more as I like my layouts to have multiple pictures. 

We always make four 2 page layouts from the paper packs.  I simply add a bit more card stock and there is always paper left over for cards or some other craft. 

This is made from the CTMH Prickly Pear paper packet.

The photo mats are 4 x 6 in Daisy White and the Prickly Pear sequins add some bling to this layout.  I also used the blue Burlap ribbon on this layout.

Prickly Pear Layout 2

The layouts are based on CTMH Workshop Your Way.  I usually change it up just a tiny bit as I like to mat most of my photos.  I also sometimes change which side of the B&T Duo paper.  I may also change the size of the photo mats or add more as I like my layouts to have multiple pictures.

The photo mats are in Popy.  The large ones are 4 x 6 inches and the small are 

3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. 

Prickly Pear sequins add bling to this layout and the the journal spot is from s 3 x 4 pocket card.

This 4th layout I based on a Workshop by Donna Cosgrove.  I just changed the zip strips and one of the papers.  I also used a different and smaller journal spot so that I could have one more 4 x 6 picture.

The photo are 4 x 6 in Emerald card stock.

I used Sea Glass card stock for the photo mats the large ones are 4 x 6 and made the 2 small ones
are 3 1/2 x 3 1/2.

Washi tape layout - Disney

I found this red and black tube of Washi tape and I thought I can do a fast bright fun Disney layout with that.  With just some Daisy white, black and red card stock along with the Washi tape I have made this layout.

This layout is pretty crazy but I love it.  Hope you enjoy it as well.

Cinderella mean step sisters layout

To this layout I have added some half Mickey head icons and some pictures from my Disney trip with my granddaughter.  This did not have to be a Disney layout but the icons and pictures and the dream from the Magic paper packet and embellishments I have turned it into that.  

I have layouts for my club without any idea what pictures will eventually be on them.  It is easy to make pictures work or your completed layouts you have sitting around.
