Mix-In paper Close to My Heart layouts

 These are the 4 layouts my club did with the Mix-In paper Sept-Oct (2 of them) and the Mix-In Sept-Oct coordinating cardstock. I did have to add one black for a base page and little bit of Daisy White and Scarlet for journal spots and accents. I always use dies for the journal spots, and I try to pick one that I think matches the design in some way.  My club benefits from my extensive die collection.

For this layout I used the keyhole border punch for the top accent.

For this layout I used a pine tree border punch. You cannot tell from the picture but the brown around the journal spot has a wood grain embossing.

I used an old Sizzix die for the circle accents on this page.

The Good Life Close to My Heart Layouts

Here are 4 layouts I made using the Close to My Heart, The Good Life paper packet (2) and one coordinating cardstock packet.  I do always add some other cardstock as well for journaling or embellishments. 

The first 2 layouts were based on what was in the CTMH book, but I made slight changes as my ladies like matted pictures and larger pictures.

I made a title with my Cameo for this layout.

I used the faux wood technique on the base pages for this layout.

Home for Christmas layouts Close to My Heart

 Here are the 5 layouts my club made with the Close to My Heart Home for Christmas paper packet (we used 2 of them) and one Home for Christmas coordinating cardstock.  I do have lots of dies on hand as I have been making cards or pages for a long time.  So my club benefits from the dies I have on hand.  Some are Close to My Heart dies and some are not.

Cozy Up Close to My Heart layouts

Here are 5 layouts we made from 2 Cozy Up Close to My Heart paper packets and one Cozy Up coordinating cardstock pack.  I did add a little bit of extra cardstock for embellishments and some photo mats. We also used the Cozy Up dots for some glittering accents on the pages.

Cosette layouts Close to My Heart

 These are 3 layouts using the Cosette paper packet and coordinating cardstock.  There is some cardstock left over to use in some other projects.

I did use the Close to My Heart Doily die and butterfly die on layout 1 and layout 2 (the large butterfly - the small one is an old Quickutz)

Christmas layouts 2022

 Made these layouts quite awhile ago and I added some pictures to them this weekend.  I find when I scrap this way I get different looking layouts.  If I just designed when I had the pictures the layouts all start to look the same. The Close to My Heart paper pack is always a theme, but you can turn it into whatever you want by the pictures and accessories you add.  I always leave room for titles and/or embellishments and journal spots.  I am not really a journal type person, but at least always put the year and who the people are.

The layout above was not one my club did as this was a Craft with Heart kit that I really liked the old fashioned looking tags, so I bought it.  The paper is printed that way and you are pretty limited to what you can do as you only have the pieces to make the design they envisioned. It has another layout or two, but for right now I choose to only use this one.  Way busier than I normally do, but I really like how this one turned out. I found some rub on transfers to add 2 more little tags at the bottom.  

This layout uses the Cedar and Pines Close to My Heart paper packet.  I did design this for my club back in Feb 2020 and the only extra accents I added now was the row of presents below the journal spot. I created this from my extensive die collection.  :)  I did make the title and penguin for my club back when we did this and they were Treasure Box Designs SVG files.

Hello Darlin layouts Close to My Heart

Here are the 5 layouts o made with Close to My Heart Hello Darlin paper packet (2 of them) and the Hello Darlin coordinating cardstock.  I do also add some extra cardstock when doing the layouts. I use dies and punches I have on hand for journal spots and accents.  I always leave room for titles or extra embellishments once pictures are placed on them  This way it does not limit what the layout can be used for.
