The title is from Miss Kate Cuttables and it part of a set, I just removed the branches as I didn't want both titles in this series of paper to be the same.

Wander Layout 1 CTMH

 Here is the first layout from the Close to My Heart Wander paper packet (2) and coordinating cardstock. 

The title is from Miss Kate Cuttables and it part of a set. The Lantern is from Treasure Box Designs and is part of a camping set.  I made it these with my Silhouette Cameo. It is amazing how a title and accessories can really make a layout pop.

The journal spot is from a die set I have on hand.  I like the look of it for this layouts as it reminds me of a lake or even a topographical map with the different elevations.

I did add some wood tone paper from CTMH as well on this layouts.

Hillside Cottage Layout 1 - CTMH

 This is the first of 5 layouts from the Close to My Heart Hillside Cottage paper pack (2) and coordinating cardstock.

I used the Close to My Heart Sunburst and leaf dies on this layout.  I love the frilly leaves that just add an extra touch.  I did use Sizzix adhesive sheet on the back of the cardstock when I cut the leaves as they are delicate and this makes it easier to adhere them to the pages.  The journal spot is the center of the starburst accent.  I did add some extra Black, Canary, Bluebell, New England Ivy and Daisy White for the starburst and leaves

Stars and Sparklers 03 CTMH

This is the second of 4 layouts from the Stars and Sparklers (2) Close to My Heart paper packet and coordinating cardstock.  I always get 2 packet packets as it allows more design options.  There is enough paper left over to make embellishment, or titles for the other pages, or even some cards.  

The journal spot was created with a Spellbinder die.  I have angled the photo mats just a little for some added interest.  I don't believe everything always has to be straight on or even.

When I use a patterned paper as the base and cover most of it in cardstock, I cut out the middle and use that design paper on another layout.  The only time I do not do this is when I use white cardstock for a base page.

Eat Play Love Layout 01 - CTMH

 This is the first layout made from 2 packs of the Close to My Heart Eat Play Love design paper and cardstock. 

I added Nectarine cardstock for photo mats and some Avocado on the bottom for a pop of green.  The Candy Apple red was made using a border die.  The journal spot is made from one of the CTMH bracket die cuts.

Eat Play Love Layout 6 - CTMH

 This is the 6th and final layout using the Close to My Heat design paper (2 of them) and the coordinating cardstock. This paper had huge flowers I did not like, so I covered the up with the plaid yellow paper and I love how this turned out.  

I added to flowers for accents on this page using some Quickutz dies.  I still love all my old Quickutz dies.  The journal spots are CTMH bracket dies.

Eat Play Love Layout 5 - CTMH

 This is the 5th layout for the Close to My Heart design paper (2 packs) and the coordinating cardstock. As I design layouts before pictures I always leave room for a title (if desired) and embellishments.

The zip strips are used at the bottom and top of this layout.  I love the cherry paper so I let the paper shine in this layout and only used the Candy Apple photo mats.

Daisy Meadows Layout 6 CTMH

Daisy Meadows Layout 5 CMTH

  This is the 5th layout my club is making using the Close to My Heart Daisy Meadows paper packet (2) and the Daisy Meadows coordinating cardstock.

This layout looks tricky but it was so easy.  You just cut your patterned paper into 6 x 9 inch rectangles and then cut on an angle and you end up with 2 pieces.  I wanted to have that diamond center show a bit, so I limited the pictures to just two 4 x 6 pictures on each page.  

The journal spot was made with an older CTMH dies.

Daisy Meadows Layout 1 CTMH

This is the 1st layout my club is making using the Close to My Heart Daisy Meadows paper packet (2) and the Daisy Meadows coordinating cardstock.  

I have not added any accessories on this one as I wan to leave it open for when pictures are added.  I did use the Daisy Meadows dots and the journal spot was made with the CTMH Stitched Fancy Brackets die.

Daisy Meadows Layout 3 CTMH

 This is the 3rd layout my club is making using the Close to My Heart Daisy Meadows paper packet (2) and the Daisy Meadows coordinating cardstock.  This layout was based on a design by another CTMH Maker (Kelly Baxter-Fitzgerald), however as usually I do make changes so it is never exactly the same.

The journal spots were made with the CTMH Scalloped Brackets Thin cuts.

I am thinking of adding Tim Holtz Oliver Colorize die as I love the funky bunny and I think he would work great here.  That may end up on here.

Daisy Meadows Layout 2 CTMH

  This is the 2nd layout my club is making using the Close to My Heart Daisy Meadows paper packet (2) and the Daisy Meadows coordinating cardstock.  

Daisy Meadows dots were used for accents and a cute little Quickutz die to represent the Easter Peepers candy.  :)  I did add 2 sheets of Daisy White cardstock on this layout.

I cut out about a 10 x 10 square of the Peach cardstock in the base page as I was adhering an 11 x 11 inch Daisy White cardstock sheet over it.  This way I was able to use some of that Peach cardstock without having to use another sheet of cardstock.  When I do layouts like this I usually do this trick as then I can use the paper on the layout or other layouts.

Daisy Meadows Layout 4 CTMH

 This is the 4th layout my club is making using the Close to My Heart Daisy Meadows paper packet (2) and the Daisy Meadows coordinating cardstock.  I did base this layout on one another CTMH Maker made, (Ashley Tianna Belicki), but I have made modifications on mine so it is not exactly the same. This is way easier to do than you might think.  :)

I added Daisy White, Fern and Almond cardstock to make this layout.  I did spritz the Daisy White paper with Peacock ink.  

I used the CTMH Hexagon dies to make the hexagons on this layout.  I love that they have a little stitched border on the edge.  

The journal spot was made with the CTMH Hexagon die and another hexagon die I had on hand.

Daisy Meadows dots were added for an accent.

Happiness Lives Here Layout 3 - CTMH

  Here is the third layout of five layouts using the Close to My Heart Happiness Lives Here paper packet, (2 of them), and the coordinating cardstock.

I have left the layout without extra embellishments so that those elements can be added once pictures are placed.  This leaves it open to any type of picture.

The journal spot was made with a die I had on hand.  It is a Cottage Cutz die.
